Stem S.r.l. has been founded in 1987 and begun its productive activity in 1988 with the manufacture of Proximity Magnetic Sensors, Magnetic Units, and Float switches for the industry. The actual development of the production offers to own customers a great choice of models in order to satisfy the most varied requirements and permitted to add to the existing products the range of lift control's magnetic sensors and also the magnetic safety systems.
In 1999 the company moved in a new building (left picture) that had favoured the increase of the production. The most rational subdivision of spaces and the use of new and more advanced equipments, had guaranteed a constant increase of the manufacturing capacity and a greater control of the production indispensable to guarantee the maximum product's quality.

 
 
In 2002 have been started the jobs to increase the building that doubled the manufacture spaces and created a two-floor offices building. The actual factory (right picture) allow to have a proper production capacity for different manufacture requirement and product ranges; moreover it's now ready a new R&D laboratory that will reduce the "time to market" of the new products. The new structure works implementing the most sophisticated design technologies and instruments to test our products for reliability, duration and safety in order to satisfy the European Community regulations.
The quality of Stem's products is guaranteed by the ISO 9002 system certification (Released by the DNV Italy in 1997) and by the product certifications from VDE and TUV.
